Who am I?

I’m a Brazilian geek that doesn’t like carnival and ran away from the sun and heat of Brazil to hide in the UK.

Even though I graduated in Business Management, IT has always been my passion. In 2015 I began my journey into the world of software testing and never looked back.

I started my career in testing as a grad tester for Centre4 Testing, now Ten10, and from them I learned the basics of everything testing: planning, documenting, reporting, automating, regressing, performing, and much more. However, it was working for Action for Children that I finally came to be able to call myself a tester.

At the moment my focus is on test automation, using Python and Selenium to test web apps mostly. My aim is to continue learning Python and other programming languages that will give me a little peak into the developer’s world and help me understand why they hate testers so much!

My dream is to learn enough to delve into performance and pentesting, one step at a time I will get there.

As a good geek, I spend my free hours playing games, both electronic and tabletop types, and read books. But I’ve also been know for learning new languages, going for walks, and dancing tango.

If you’d like to know the latest book I’m reading, why not take a look on my Goodreads page? Or maybe drop by my twitter feed to find some latest news about technology, gaming and science that recently got my attention. Also feel free to find me on Facebook, but I must warn you: it’s full of Brazilian rubbish ;)
